Tara Nome Doyle is a Norwegian-Irish singer-songwriter who is about to release her second album, Værmin. The final single from the album, ‘Caterpillar’ is a moving cut that wanders from the ethereal softness of her isolated vocal against sustained organ chords, into a drum accompanied groove supported by huge harmonies. The upcoming album aims to tell a tragic, symbolic love story by using the names of supposedly undesirable animals to represent the supposed ugliness that lives within everyone.
